Product Description
White or yellowish powder, sweet flavor. Relative density 6.94, refractive index 2.25, soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, ammonium acetate solution; insoluble in water and organic solvents. Becomes gray-black at about 200℃; becomes yellow at about 450℃. Has excellent thermal stability and weather resistance. It has the ability to resist oxidation and shield ultraviolet rays. Excellent initial coloring, can produce white products. Unstable, can decompose by itself. Burns when exposed to fire. Toxic.
Use
Mainly used as stabilizer for hard and soft products of opaque polyvinyl chloride, especially for outdoor cables and wires, construction plates (such as corrugated boards), pipes and so on. It has synergistic effect when used with trisodium lead sulfate and dibasic lead stearate. The general dosage is 1%~5%.
